Writings

Writing is the center of every aspect of my work as an artist, and it's the only  thing I do almost every day, since I began journal writing as a pre-ado  (a practice I continue to this day both digitally but also with old school pen and paper).   Check out news on  latest literary work here, including SkyePapers,   recently released, New York Times reviewed , debut novel.   I am a cross-disciplinary writer, my poetry, essays, and fictions have been published consistently and widely over the years.   Though I am a black (queer) amerikan, I have been living in Europe for practically half my life, so the subject matter and the heart of my practice is coloured by this experience.  Topics include, (not exclusively), Futurism, Fugitivity, Art and Activism, "Counter-Culture", Black women in Art, Music, Literature & Activism, Queer politics,  Chronopolitics, Agency, "Surveillance culture" and Memory .

FAR narratives and other writings from the Archives

Over the years I have been published in so many journals and anthologies that I have lost track  of most of them.   In this section are a few that immediately come to mind... and as time goes there will probably be more added. Downloadables will attached when possible, and can be made available on request.

I would like to bring to the floor a couple of publications which map the evolution of the FAR (fugitive archetype of resistance) ...
